Hello all of our friends, family, and community members who have given so much towards making the dream of Round-Up come to life!

Back in April, we saw many of you at our hugely successful Gothstern, where we raised almost $5,000 and got to dance the day away with our friends DJ Milagro, Nia Padilla, DJ Kaboom, Skunk Monks, and DeadYou. The event itself wasn’t just a fundraiser, but a meaningful celebration of independent art, culture, and resistance.

Our momentum hasn’t stopped there. Since then, our team has grown, our schedule is firming, we’ve found our location, and the world of Round-Up has begun to take shape. We are so thrilled to share that we are filming this July!

Fundraising for Round-Up has united all of us as creatives, advocates, familia, fighters, and truth-seekers - including you and your participation in our story and events and with your donations. Watching the continued acceleration of surveillance, the chokehold on the media, the disgusting violence towards brown bodies and families by our government has hurt us all to our core. We look at Round-up as an outlet for our pain, a platform for our voice, and a loud scream in protest of our disenfranchisement.

We encourage everyone to stay alert and stay involved. Look out for your neighbors, join community defense groups, and remember that exhaustion is the best weapon this administration has. Keeping that in mind has only strengthened our commitment to Round-Up and now we’re less than $10,000 away from our final goal of $30,000 dollars.

We know things are tight for many people, but even the smallest contributions make a world of difference on-set and on-screen. If you can’t give a little more today, then please share this with someone who might, or please engage with our socials to boost our message. Maybe you have something more practical to offer, like volunteering on the project or a service like catering? We are all ears and invite you to help us continue growing our community.
